Fairly rare model 20 JC Higgins (Sears) in 16 gauge. This is the deluxe version with the enlay in the buttstock and checkered wood. Not many made in 16 gauge and referred to as the best budget shotgun made. This one has the desired 28" barrel choked Modified so steel shot can be used. Very nice condition.

For the info....That's not a deluxe model at all. Its simply a High standard shotgun. The inlay " you refer to was High Standard companie's " Shield " they put on their shotgun buttstocks, same way as Marlin put the Marlin bullseye mark on the bottom of thier buttstocks on thier lever action rifles. I have had a few of them over the years.
