These are great shotguns as chelger3 said. I have one I got from my father-in-law twenty years ago. These were made by High Standard. The action is as smooth as silk. Only pump shotgun I own that when held vertical, the slide will drop all the way open under it's own weight when released.

The High Standard models have a jeweled bolt. I have one and agree they are awesome. 1952-1953 is when Jc Higgins subcontracted though them if I recall correctly.
