I just pulled out this pellet stove today and went to wood in our master bedroom. This is a older unit, Manual start, Seems to work fine. We have been using it daily for months.
I know nothing about these things. It seems to operate as it should with the occasional thump sound from the auger motor. They are mounted to move around so I assume this is normal.
I had just replaced the double wall 3" pellet stove approved (BS) pipe to the tune of 300+ dollars then I was offered a wood stove I couldn't pass up. I have two slip unions one elbow one straight piece and the adapter from stove to the "Dura-vent"
Mine was hard wired to 120v so you will have to add a plug to the cord or hard wire it also.
As always cash is great but I'm a gun guy after all and love to get new toys.
I don't want to build a relationship with this stove or have it long enough to name it so let's get it out of here.
I want 450 for the working stove WITH the pipe I just paid 300 F-N dollars for.
A good cleaning recommended before install.
