Came across a single shot j&t Stevens .22 anybody know anything about this company? I'd post a pic if I knew how.

That is the company. This particular piece is a single shot pistol with about an 8" barrel on it.

Most likely made by J Stevens Arms and Tool co. They made several break open single shots in .22 and other calibers. This company is now owned by Savage.


Edit: Most likely this if it has an 8" barrel maybe a model 10 or 35.

Stevens was bought by Savage in 1920.
I believe Savage still makes a .22 single shot rifle. Probably the legacy of Levi's pistol.
