Iver Johnson 1911s?

I've been tempted on and off this year to acquire one of these for a Form 1 project. But I don't know much about them and been too busy most of that time. The idea is past brain fart stage, but not ready to pull the trigger yet, as I don't know much about this particular offering from Iver. And, candidly, there some wheelguns I've been snooping about for a while.

Anyone know the stories on these? Thanks!

(P.S. Purpose is stocked pistol wackiness. Nothing more, nothing less.)

I've been hoping to find just the stock but to end up with the same idea on a form 1. Looks like fun to me

Consider if Tiny Tim had been using this as a crutch, Mr. Scrooge would not have lived long enough to get redeemed and Christmas Day would have been ruined.

One of the things that causes me cause on this is the stock looks a lot like a set of aftermarket types that have been on the market for a very long time indeed. The example I messed with at one point was very flimsy indeed and doubt would have held up well. I've read the same from at least one contributor here. So, neato idea, but thinking bag this one for now though, admittedly, I don't know if they used the same parts.
