Just reminder , or two....or three....

We have rules in regards to posting here at NWFA.
Rules which everyone needed to agree to follow in order to become a NWFA member.

Please also consider that membership of NWFA , is made of many different folks.
Comments that target / insult / belittle / etc..women , or LGBTQ , etc....Are at the least Less than excellent.
Alienating NWFA members or causing them to not want to be here due to content....
Is not welcomed , helpful , needed or wanted.....Please stop.

What we post matters...and will reflect upon all members of NWFA , in addition to all firearm owners.
Once posted....that comment or thread is out there for all the world to see.
As well as being perceived as how all NWFA / firearm owners think , feel and express themselves.

Think before posting.....Post within NWFA rules.

Someone attacking or insulting a stereotypical Conservative is just as against the rules...
As someone attacking or insulting a stereotypical Liberal...
Or any other label one wishes to insert here.

Attack the position taken...not the NWFA member.

If a post or thread is against NWFA rules....report it...it will be dealt with.

My Thread here is just a reminder that NWFA has many different members.
Different members mean different viewpoints....different ways of living...etc...
No one needs to agree with any or all of the differences.

However....
When posting....post within NWFA rules...rules that everyone agreed to follow when joining.
Speaking only for myself here....
I understand that life , the world and everything else...ain't as cut and dry as our site rules...
Context is important....
So I will allow some wiggle room / leeway....within limits.

I would hope people be more direct in their post. Especially sarcasm or even insults. I responded to a two post thread then told it wasn't directed at me.

Okay. I don't mind shots taken at me but not strays. I hope we can let some things go or take it offline. I get it's hard during election cycles because they are high stakes and probably a bad time to troll.

This site tends to funnier and more topical than any show or legit "comic" site I am aware of, but lately the gloves seem to have been thrown off in favor of bare knuckles.

To add to Andy's posts and advice, dealing with the issues that come when posts cross the lines, can be a real PIA. It really helps us Moderators when we are doing things like answering questions instead of chasing issues from pissed off and upset people. It's more fun for us to be a Tour Guide than a Sheriff.
Andy does a crowd control around here, but he works with children and is well qualified! But you can ask any of us or tag us @Moderators to get help.
