Is your EDC a Sig P365?

My (first and only) EDC is a p365XL, but I've yet to put any rounds through it, hoping to soon. I chose the XL because the 365 grip was too short for me.

Definitely run 100+ rounds through it. I find they definitely need to get broken in a little to run smooth.

I would polish the barrel feed ramp shiny to ensure it is smooth . Being that it is new I would also load full the magazines to set the springs . The bullet weight and nose configuration in some pistols are finicky . Just some thoughts .

The more I shoot my wife's P365, the more I like it. I was testing it with Federal Punch ( forget what grain ) and with 124 gr standard pressure Gold Dot and 115 gr Hornaday Critical Defense. The punch and the gold dot printed low at 40 feet. The CD shot to point of aim and had a dime sized group at 40 feet.

The Critical defense also felt the best recoil wise. Shot a group that was the size of a quarter off hand with it. We have 10, 12, 15, and 17 round mags for it. She likes the 12's the best. I did order pinky extension plates for the 10's as we will be neutered to 10 rounds by the time she actually starts carrying it.

Neither of us could eject the tens with the flush plates. They get hung up on the palm. I like the 17's the best as they give me something to hold onto.

I am going to get a WML with a laser for it. My wife has trouble seeing the irons during the day. I am going to get a holster for it for myself to EDC it this summer.

I will have to make her a custom left handed OWB holster for her as she is pear shaped and her hip pushes the muzzle out away from her body, causing the grip and slid to dig into her side above the belt. That has happened with every manufactured holster that she has had with other pistols.

She had a Glock 26, but it was too big for her hand. She sold it to a friend, along with the holster that I made for it, years ago.

You can boost the capacity of the 10 & 12 round mags by 2 with MagGuts internals, adds no length to the mag and has functioned flawlessly for me.

I have a P365 and have enjoyed it but I'm thinking about about selling it to get something with a bit longer slide. Maybe a Glock 48. My fingers stretched out get uncomfortably close to the muzzle.

A P365 XL grip module makes it a whole other gun. I couldn't get used to the regular P365 grip so I got the XL module. Then upgraded to the Wilson Combat XL module and it really improved.

I'm pushing a good number of rounds through it now and feel I can trust it. Last night, I put a Sig Foxtro365XR light mount on the gun and like that combo. I found a company that makes a holster for the gun/light combo and will be ordering that soon. It's made by Werkz if anyone is interested in going this route. Then, there will be practice getting used to drawing/shooting from that setup. Hoping to go permanently to this combination by fall. 'Til then, the P938 is providing faithful service!

My p365 still hasn't supplanted my p938 for Carry time. #1 reason is uncomfortable holster. #2 reason is dirt in the red dot, small size of the red dot, lack of clarity of red dot. I have no issue with shooting the red dot, it's the associated issues I don't like as far as carrying. No issues with the gun itself at all. It's easy to shoot well for a small gun. I carry the grand power q1 more than the p365. Q1 is way more accurate and way, way, less recoil. No comparison accuracy or time wise for me.

Shoot what you like! I have been a Glock fan for many years and, not only have I shot many but, have owned many of them. Still have Glocks. The Sig P365XL is not a Glock clone. Striker fired, yes. Glock clone, IMO, no! And, I"ve had no malfunctions in either one of P365's so, you do you.

I carry the grand power q1 more than the p365. Q1 is way more accurate and way, way, less recoil. No comparison accuracy or time wise for me.

No comparison in size either. Those are two entirely different categories of pistols.

I looked this gun up and watched a couple videos. I do like the looks of it. Nice little piece.

It's one of those you have to shoot in person imo. I shot it head to head against p365x and some other pistols that were twice the weight and 3 times the price. It beat them all. It's the rotating barrel system that is different. Trigger isn't anything dramatically different. It's a good trigger but still striker fired. Sights are fine but nothing special at all. It's the lack of recoil that makes it different. Also grip size is important. For one person it may be too big. For the next it may be perfect. One drawback is grip is slick on the sides. I put Taylor tactical grip tape on mine to solve that. For someone who only shoots slow fire (why would they do that? But that's another story) they may not see any difference. But for someone who practices practical or real world application, it does very well.

Got my holster from Werkz and so far, I'm pretty happy with it and the whole setup. Another month of practice and the 365XL will be moved to my EDC. I realy want the Sig Romeo X-Compact optic but, it is a bit expensive right now and does not come in green dot! My eyes realy need the green nowadays during daylight operations.

I have a p365 and like it. But I can carry and shoot my cheap little Ruger lc9 pro way better. Less than half the price. Something about the trigger of the sig feels hollow, and I'm always shooting low. I don't have that issue with either of my other pistols. Love the way the sig feels, except the trigger. I'd be willing to let go of it and upgrade my other pistols

Mcarbo trigger and spring kit is the way. At least it was for me.

The first time I handled one, I did not care for the feel. I was pretty dedicated to my Glock 43 and reluctant to give anything else a real try. (I've carried others that I have but, the 43 was my primary) Lately I have been revisiting the P365 and realized it really fits my hand well and has very good point ability for me. Long story short, I picked one up and it is now replacing the G43 as my EDC. Something about this little shooter keeps grabbing at my attention and I can't seem to put it down. Once I've found the perfect 124gr defense load, it will be my new constant companion. It is optic ready, but not sure I'm going to put one on yet. It has a really good set of night sights on right now.

My EDC has been the Beretta PX4 Storm. I'm ready to downsize. How does the 365 compare to Hellcat Pro? Or Canik Mete MC9 Prime?
I heard the internals of the 365 can fit into a 365X frame, or an Icarus frame. I think it's VERY awesome to have those mod options, and I'm leaning more towards purchasing a 365 myself now. What do you think?
