After my range day and, having a disability that affects both my hands, I did notice after shooting a good bit, the P365 is a tad snappy. Not unbearable perse but, noticeable. I put a Hogue Handall grip on it this morning and it greatly improved my grip and should absorb some of the buck. Last add on and she goes in the Tulster for drawing practice before EDC. Really loving this little 9mm!

I highly recommend the Wilson Combat P365 grip modules and tungsten weight kit. Makes it a much nicer feeling gun.

Check out the Mirzon module too. One of SafeFire's rental guns has that grip installed.

That's a great feature of the 320 / 365. Modularity.

The first time I handled one, I did not care for the feel. I was pretty dedicated to my Glock 43 and reluctant to give anything else a real try. (I've carried others that I have but, the 43 was my primary) Lately I have been revisiting the P365 and realized it really fits my hand well and has very good point ability for me. Long story short, I picked one up and it is now replacing the G43 as my EDC. Something about this little shooter keeps grabbing at my attention and I can't seem to put it down. Once I've found the perfect 124gr defense load, it will be my new constant companion. It is optic ready, but not sure I'm going to put one on yet. It has a really good set of night sights on right now.

If the P365 is your EDC, what brought you over to it, and what are your favorite likes about it? Share your story if you like.:)

I had to procure one the first time I picked up a P-365; it fits my hand perfectly.

I used to EDC a P365 and then a P365xl with the Wilson Combat grip module and a Holosun EPS Carry. I never had any problems with them but I didn't put more than 1,000 rounds through either gun if I remember correctly.

Rhett from Demonstrated Concepts makes a few points to why he switched from the P365 series to carrying Glocks, and it's to do with maintenance cost due to having to replace springs and such pretty often. So my advice is to stay on top of tracking your round count and how your springs are behaving.

Here's the video where he talks about it if anyone is interested.

I love my X macro. Easy to conceal, easy to shoot. My hands fit a size xl glove and I like everything about the x macro except the mag release is a bit awkward if I'm trying to speed reload compared to my p320 x ten. But for a compact it's a great balance of concealability and shootability for me. I feel comfortable with tight groups at 50 yard. I had a tenicor iwb but switched to a DeSantis slim tuk and it's pretty comfortable. Now that I have a full size p320, I kinda wish I had one of the smaller p365 but when I bought the x macro it was my main striker fire pistol so I got one that felt a bit more balanced for shooting.

EDCs are such a person thing so do whatever is right for you.

Good info and interesting. Definitely applies to a minority of people, but good info to know long-term as well. Thanks.

I bought one when they first came out, ergonomically it felt very good in my hands, it was fairly accurate but unfortunately I had several miss fires (light taps) and I sold it. I ended replacing it with a G43X.

Yeah, that doesn't really seem like something that 99% of people have to concern themselves with. Carry guns are generally shot enough to make sure theyre functional then just carried a lot. Most folks dont go putting thousands of rounds through their EDC weapon.

I have a 365XL, got it as a "warm weather, tshirt/shorts" carry option. Never had any problems with it but its just a bit too small, feels almost identical to the 43x to me. G19 is just wide enough for the real estate I need and does the same job at the end of the day

I picked up a P365XL for craps and giggles. It had a great price and I also got a WC grip module. Pistol, grip module and 3 mags all for less than the pistol new. I'm happy so, guess that's all that matters.:D Now I need an optic and holster for it. Man, this hobby is like a black hole!

Thanks to a great member willing to work with me, I now have a Veridian green dot on the way for the XL! :D

well, the Veridian RFX15 Green Dot came today and I got it installed on the 365XL. I'm hoping to get to the range tomorrow and sight it in.

There is debate ad nauseam as to the appropriate sight in distance of a dot sight on a handgun . After researching many informative sources I settled on 25 yards POA / POI . The point of impact over 7-25 yds distances doesn't change a lot because the sight is in more alignment with the bore axis . Where as if sighted at 7-10 yds POI up to 25 yds could be 3"+ from point of aim . Besides the iron sights are sighted in at 25 yards also so it just goes hand in hand . Good all around setup . :)

My (first and only) EDC is a p365XL, but I've yet to put any rounds through it, hoping to soon. I chose the XL because the 365 grip was too short for me.
