One of the best values of precision optics when I purchased at full price.. at $1499 for everything listed ($1000 dollar loss) this is the best bargain currently listed.
I've had people say that they don't need a 36 power scope so my response is that you don't have to use it at that level of magnification. But here's the bottom line.. you think you don't need it until you have it. When given the opportunity to crank it up your going to. Although I barely used this it was nice being able to stay on target vs separating myself from the rifle to use the spotting scope.
IOR Valdada makes precision long optics and this one is no exception ~ this is a WORLD CLASS PRECISION OPTIC.
The German Schott optical glass is absolutely outstanding and the optical clarity is comparable to that of Leica, Swarovski, Schmidt & Bender and the like.
Additionally it is built to withstand the recoil of a 50bmg / anything else you can throw at it.
Recent purchase (2020) from Midway USA @ $2295 dollars.
This is the more expensive FFP version (two similar models)
Currently mounted in a zero moa American Defense Recon QD mount that I purchased from Primary Arms @ $195 dollars (included with purchase).
Scopes history ~
It's been mounted on two rifles but only used one time (50 rounds fired of 5.56)
The turrets and the zero stops have never been set. I did a 100 yard sight in and called it good.
It's in near perfect condition ~ it does have "faint" ring marks but only visible in certain lighting ~ no scope / safe dings and the glass is 100% perfect.
Key features :
9-36x44mm
35mm tube
Extremely versatile parallax ~ 25' feet to infinity (perfect for any caliber long distance set up or for closer work using a 22lr like "no your limits" due to the illuminated center dot)
FFP MP-8 Extreme X1 reticle illuminated
New HDF APO German Schott Low dispersion optical glass
Zero stop(s) ~ has second point of impact indicator / 2 zero stops
Factory supplied "low" 35mm precision rings (hinged type)
13.75" length
Sunshade
2032 battery
Factory box with all the contents
Sale includes the American Defense Recon QD mount it's currently mounted in a ScopeCoat XP-6 scope cover, and the 35mm precision low factory supplied scope rings.
I have over $2500 dollars in this "set up"
Listing at a $900 dollar loss
$1499 cash FIRM (was $1599)
Added a couple of part cash / part trade options :
1000 round case of Magtech / CBC 77 grain otm ammo + $850 dollars cash
or ~
1000 round case of 124 grain fmj 9mm brass case (name brand) like American Eagle, PMC, S&B, Speer Lawman or Federal Syntech ammunition + $1100 cash
On YouTube "Cyclops" has some IIOR Valdada videos that are worthy of checking out (I don't know how to add links).
Thanks
