New guy here, from the King County area. Relatively new to firearms ownership myself but its a family tradition. I am joining the forums primarily to connect with the local community, learn new things, use the classifieds, and most importantly to find other people who support the constitution in its entirety for sharing of information on political action.

I am interested in firearms history, gunsmithing and shooting, and I would like to learn long range precision shooting. Not into reloading at this time, but maybe I will get into that eventually.

Welcome. IMHO you got one more step........if you didn't do it already........get a CCW. It's sort of an instant "badge" to carry around. Showing that you're one of the "good guys." Of course, it's still up to you if you choose to go around armed. But, I've found it useful when making a firearms deal/purchase face to face.

Not to mention, that you'll probably p%$$ off a LIBTARD.

Definitely on the agenda, although it will be a month or so before I have time get that taken care of. For now, having fun trying out different handgun options. Any recommendations on handguns I should try out? I've tried the Glock 26 and 17, and a 1911 so far, kinda digging the Glock's for their lightweight and the safe-action. Seems like there would less fussing with it if you happened to need it. Seems like some people don't dig 9mm for defense though.
