Installing new hammer on Single Six

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone knows how much work it would be to install a Ruger bisley hammer on my regular single six old model. I would be confident sanding down with emery, but I have no smithing experience. Bisley hammers go for about 30 bucks on midway, and I wouldn't want to dump much more money on tools. Any suggestions on equipment necessary, and would I need any parts other than just a hammer? Thanks, I realize I'm asking for a near-walkthrough, any advice would be appreciated greatly.
