"The phase II contenders were the FN FNAC, the Heckler & Koch HK416A5, a modified variant of the Remington ACR, the Adcor Defense BEAR Elite, the Beretta ARX-160, and the Colt Enhanced M4" - Individual Carbine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Gun makers involved in the competition said they have heard nothing from the Army about Phase III of the competition. Competitors didn’t want to be named in this story but said they would not be surprised if the effort was canceled because they never believed the Army was serious about replacing the M4 family" - Army Set to Kill Improved Carbine Competition | Military.com

If it gets cancelled on May 23, it will be a sad news for people expecting a piston-based system to become popular. I wish they could at least publish Phase II results.
