Independence Day Saftey Preps?

So what do y'all do to prep for the fireworks tomorrow night?


We keep a 100' hose with nozzle on full and stretched out next to the road.

Water our yards all day long.

Keep a fire extinguisher out front.

Keep a 5 gal bucket of water by the hose.

Keep burn gel inside by the kitchen sink.

Wear a OC pistol all day for drunk idiots that might for some reason decide to start something (we live in a neighborhood with both good and crappy people).

Keep fireworks under the front porch (people will bring them when they drop by so we don't really buy much, just some sparklers and other kid stuff - there are almost always leftovers for the following year) and no flames or lit punks are aloud on the driveway - on the road only.

Me thinks you guys are a little over prepared, if there is such a thing. I have working hoses for the front and back yard. I EDC my G26, tomorrows date doesn't have any affect on that. Otherwise, nothing.

Just mow the wife's 1/2 acre of wildflowers & other weeds, water the lawn & water hoses for the hosers that do not care where their rockets land, have found some on my friggin roof before!!!

Will spend the morning converting more powder to usable ammo...so that there is less flammable material around the house.

Thankfully they banned fireworks in the city of Vancouver so I'm sure there wont be any going around my house
