So some years ago I stumbled on a 125gr FPHP Sierra bullet. This bullet makes a great fast moving slug for a 30-30 Win in a 20" barrel I am getting 2600fps in the 26" barrel I'm running 2700fps (different load) It makes a great Deer hunting load.In my M1 Carbine its a nasty home defense load at 1900fps. In my Rugar Blackhawk in 30M1 Its my Pistol Blacktail load. BUT they tend to be hard to find. So when ever I can find them I buy two boxes. I currently have like 800 of them and just ordered 200 more.

I think I have a sickness. Or I need to shoot more.

But…. you didn't actually ask for any help!

CLICK-BAIT TITLE! :s0118:

You need to learn to understand the cry for help. True addicts rarely come out and state their addiction in plain terms, the always describe it in terms that externalize the issues.

As for me, I am here to help. The next few hundred you by I will keep for you, until you can learn to control the impulses. We are always supportive here at bullets anonymous :s0140:

I understand. Back when I reloaded, my go-to .30-30 bullet was the 130 gr Speer Flat Point. It shot well, and it killed deer.

I have overcome this addiction, and have not loaded these for many years. But I do have a bunch hid away just in case I fall off the wagon.

The .30-30 is a great cartridge!

Not that I would need the FPHP design but this bullet would flat rip loaded in my 30-40 Krag. (My Winchester model 1895 has a box magazine so no need for a flat point) OH gees another reason to buy more.

I have no idea what the last part of your post is saying, and I'm pretty sure you don't either.

Send them to me and don't buy anymore. Each year you go without buying anymore, I will send you an abstinence coin (probably a penny).

That Sierra 125HP is what makes my 1948 Model 336 shoot like a fat-barreled varminter at 100 yds (even with the Lyman Alaskan 2.5x /post reticle).

Scary stuff.
