Yes this is a NEW production stock not GI at all. But it is a direct copy of a late WWII low wood pre M2 stock. From handling it and getting a really good look at it and having had a couple other carbines and my dad having 3 carbines I used as a kid. I have to say this is as direct of copy as I think anyone could make since the originals had variations afterall they were made by a bunch of different companies at different times and in different versions. I am very happy.

Thanks for the Heads up I do have a OD Green canvas sling for it I just didn't put it on cause it makes it hard to show off the wood. I do want to upgrade a sling though. Mine is rather beat.
