If you are looking at this, you might very well be like me and have a passion for enjoying and shooting quality, rare rifles from historical firearm makers.
This rifle certainly fits that bill. Stunning hand engraved and dark deep bluing from a by-gone era is abound on this fine single shot rifle. The wood is truly magnificent as well, with hardly a nick or scrape. Factory plastic butt pad is in magnificent shape. Unbelievably this rifle has its four digit serial number located in 4 different locations that I have found. These were truly all made my hand by master gunsmiths in Germany. I have had many HW air rifles and I have paid over one thousand dollars for one, and that because they are worth it.
This is a rare rifle, I have never seen another Mannlicher stocked Model 52, I am not saying they don't exist, but I have not seen one. These are rare to find in the U.S.A. I doubt you will ever find a nicer one than this , it is the cleanest one I have ever seen, and it certainly has the most deep detailed engraving on one I have seen.
You can carry this all day for fox or rabbit hunting and you will never get tired.
For the life of me I cannot find the rear diopter sight I had on this. It was a HW diopter sight. They can be found on eBay and such.
