I posted for sale my Husqvarna 30.06. I have run into a lot of dead ends trying to identify its country of origin And true value. 1964 by the serial number but that's as far as I get. Anybody out there have an idea?
Barrel stamping reads HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. 30.06 U.S. IMPERIAL
SEE MY ADD FOR PICS. APPRECIATIVE OF ANY HELP.

"Imperial" is the "grade" as in the amount and style of checkering , figure of the wood in the stock etc...
Your rifle was made in Sweden and imported to the US..possibly by Tradewinds
Tradewinds was based out of Tacoma in the 1960's and 70's

Beautiful rifle and set up for sure @bivy53

I think that your rifle is worth your asking price however.....
In my neck of the woods that would be a high price...and the rifle will be sitting for a long while.

Husqvarna rifles are of great quality and come in different "grades" and even Mauser action styles.
They are well built whatever the action or grade...just not very popular or as well known as they should be.
