This is a good deal if it's truly 30db reduction. 30db means roughly 40% less sound is reaching your ears compared to the 22 db ones many people use. That's a huge difference. I will order some cuz my Peltor x5, while being 34db reduction, don't have ambient amplification. So I'll use these for times I want to hear ambient sounds.
