I wonder if that's a cross draw holster? Pretty severe angle...

This used to be a VERY popular carry for Large/Magnum revolvers, particularly in Alaska, a carry method I still use to this day, VERY hard to get quality holsters now, but back in the day, this was unbeatable for carry, the newer chest rigs are not nearly as fast or intuitive as the cross draw carry!
This type of cross draw is VERY comfortable, especially with the large frame Revolvers like the Anaconda or Mod-15 Smith, I fly with this rig all the time, can sit and drive or just chill comfortable and hardly know i'm wearing it!

AIWB is actually one of the oldest forms of carry, what we have today is just a resurgence in popularity.

AIWB is very uncomfortable for me but i think its the most concealable and best retention.

That was a good article, i like how he described the different levels of concealment. i dont know of any modern "deep concealment " holsters today other than the Urban Carry G3.
