if this is nation wide, i dont really think its all that unreasonable, we're talking about tens of millions of people flying every day. im sure that there are a good number of just plain dumb people and then those who are regular carriers and just plain slipped up. still, i really hope people put more thought into it next time.

To be an objective story, they should probably include the number of people screened to travel in that same 7 day period. Memorial day is big for summer vacations and all. 65 won't seem that big when you compare it to the millions of travelers who did not forget to remove their guns before going through security.

It does amaze me that people can be that stupid still though.
