Looking to trade. Still has the package, Galco Miami Classic for 1911. It turns out I had an extra one that I found in a box I hadn't looked in for 15 years. Also new in package.

I would like to trade for a Miami Classic rig for my Colt Python 2 and 1/2 inch barreled revolver. Must have speed loader holders, not speed strips. Black preferred. But tan would be ok. Either way, it should be in like new condition. And for right handed shooter.

The one I have to trade is black. It doesn't come with tie downs and is for a right handed shooter.

Lol.

Truth!

My mother didn't even know she was dying but spent the last three years of her life passing stuff on to me. I have a Polaroid camera, 8mm film projector, slide projector, screen, tons of slides and home movies, pictures, books, and on and on. Every time my wife visited her, and I wasn't along, my wife would come home with the trunk of her car full. Fortunately for me, my wife knows the drop-off locations at the nearest Goodwill and St. Vinnie's stores.

Now, I must confess, I wasn't under nearly as much duress when my maternal grandfather had me load his gun cabinet and contents into the back of my pickup truck because he said he was too old to use them anymore and didn't want someone to break in and steal them. Same thing when my dad passed his guns and cabinet along to me as well.

Well, to be fair, my son gave me the Colt Python that I have earlier this summer as a birthday gift. He initially said he didn't want the Galco rig, but he kinda came around.

I have a new set of tie downs I'm gonna give him as a surprise because I found another set of those too, and three GI 7 round mags because our Wilson Combat mags are to long for the Mag carriers.

I'll let my son know he needs to step up his game. Christmas is just around the corner! :D
Yeah, the Python wasn't all of it. It was combined Christmas/Birthday gift. He also gave me a Ruger Super Wrangler and about 600 dollars worth of ammo and 2x5 ammo cans with trays that hold the 5 ammo cans.

I had to buy an ammo safe because I've outgrown the cans. He gave me half of the ammo in the pictures, and you still can't see what's on the right and left sides of the shelves in the photos.

I'm gonna get him a Colt GI style 1911 for him for his birthday in July. And don't worry, he doesn't even know about this forum. He ain't gonna find out ha ha. There's about ten more boxes of ammo in the gun safe. I have them paired uP, you know what ammo goes with which guns, in case she has to use them when I'm not around, and they are all loaded and chambered in their stands, and she knows this. All are loaded except the 22's, of which I have half a dozen.

I've got tie downs for the shoulder rig that are the new style Galco, and a couple of S&W knives and some Winchester Ranger T series and Federal HST ammo in 9 and 45 for him and a Traditions SAA Clone in 22 for him. He will be coming about the middle of December to deliver the car that we bought from him. I paid him 3K more than the car is worth in Kelly BB for the car, and since he's working as a mechanic up in Washington, he's going to do a brake job on it, a tune up with new coil packs, and replace the belts and hoses. He also threw in his old 18 gun safe as he got a bigger one and didn't need it.

So, as it won't be at Christmas, I'm gonna just put all his goodies in a bag, and give them to him on the 12th or so if next month.
