High Cascade Unit

I drew a high cascade buck tag this year. Planned on hunting the southern end of the unit. Anyone had any luck here or have any luck in other areas of the unit? I'm not asking for your honey hole (unless you want to pm it to me) but more looking to see if anyone has had any success. Or is there a good reason that your tag turns into a general season tag if you don't fill it? Been scouting for a couple of weekends and havent seen a single big game animal. Seen some sign but not too much. Any insight for my first hunt in this unit would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the responses. I drew Metolious last year and it was great. Now I just hope my hunting spot isn't closed due to fire.

surprisingly, my father in law and his hunting group didnt see any bucks in the metolious unit. glad your hunt went well!
