We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Matt in South Carolina here. Found this place looking on Google for a lower I'm in search of. Mostly plink 22lr but lately have been upping the caliber and enjoying learning as I go. Seems like a nice forum you guys have here, thanks for having me.
Just wondering, and also adding to my post count to unlock my account, but do my messages need approval in this post that I started as well, or only posts that I comment on?

Glad to have another Carolinian here. I grew up in Goose Creek and still have plenty of friends and family back there. Generally, hang out in Meggett when we get back east.
This is the best place to hang out on the internet.
I know that you're not in the Oregon/ Washington area but we've found the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly is through grass roots involvement.
If there isn't a local group that advocates for responsible stewardship of public lands, check out Trash No Land.
That's awesome speaking of Goose Creek, im actually in Hanahan, but whenever I tell someone that, they always ask where the world that is, so I just say Charleston off the get. I mostly fish the Cooper river and dont even eat fish, haven't even shot a deer in 20 years or so. Anyway. I will trade some spottail for some deer though, usually keep the shrimp to myself haha. So yea, conservation comes easy for me and I have been reading around a little and lurking a bit, still waiting on a reply on the lower thread, but I'm being patient ha! Small world for such a big place sometimes
Born in Columbia when my dad was going to college after WWII. Youngest brother in Aiken, a few relatives left in Greensboro but most in North Carolina. I get back every five years or so, as I don't want funerals to be the only reason to head east. Anyway, welcome.
As far as my search for the lower, I was informed the seller doesn't have time to make shipments currently. Now I'm trying to figure out if I need to keep looking or not. Hope they reply with an answer. Either way, hope everyone has a great week. It's almost turkey time!!
