welcome to NWF ! ya there's a lot of folks out there that haven't been into guns, but as some of the more aggresive people want to take your belongings & maybe your life! things have changed a lot on gun ownership & conceal permits ! if your a little new to firearms, you mite want to check out a "safety course", and take a friend with you..... a little knowledge can go a long ways ! plus it gives you a chanch to introduce someone new to the sport ! enjoy yourself !!
