I've been following this group for some time as I like to see what's going on in other parts of the country. I'm way down in southwest GA (almost in FL). Our new "Guns Everywhere Law" has been way overblown in the media. For one, a GWCL holder could already carry in the unsecured area of airports. Most governmental buildings (except courthouses) have no security at all. There was nothing to keep a person with bad intent out. Now some cities are clamoring to get security (which will only keep out the law abiding citizen. The GWCL (Georgia Weapons Carry License) is basically required for open or concealed carry (off your property and out of a vehicle). With a GWCL, you can bypass a NICS check when purchasing a firearm from a dealer. - looking forward to chiming in on occasion!
