Well, I've been shooting recreationally for most my adult life. It's a fun hobby that seems to grow along with my income..sometimes much faster! I'm trying to learn the art of trap shooting right now as well as trying my hand at long range shooting. I'm a member out at tcgc, and lately I've been trying to get out there a couple times a month.

Welcome Mustangguy. Since your a member of TCGC check out Frank Burke,s Vintage Rifle Matches. A great group of
shooters. You do not have to be a member to shoot. Matches starting in March
Vintage Military Rifle and Pistol Competition

Thanks for the suggestion, Ron! It might be fun to watch, as I don't think I have anything that would qualify to shoot with..maybe that's the excuse I need to get a new toy I'd like to start shooting matches there. It's a great place with lots of stuff always going on.

Since you are a member of TCGC they will loan you a club M-1 Garand.
Also they can sell you USGI ball ammo for shooting at the match.
I can loan you a mat or other equipment. We shoot at 200 yards with
pit service. Nice bunch of guys. Let Frank know if you are interested
in borrowing a club rifle.
