Good evening everyone! I stumbled across the Northwest Firearms site via a Google search for help with neck turning, and was so impressed with the knowledgeable and professional dialog I read that I created an account. I'm going to browse a bit and then will likely raise some questions. I think it's safe to say that I am pretty old-school. My latest firearm purchase, a retirement gift to myself, was an 1885 Winchester reproduction from Uberti special-ordered in 30-30. I have the crazy idea that I may be able to shoot it at my local range (with some accuracy) at 500 yards using a mid-range Creedmore tang sight. Maybe, maybe not, but I will have fun trying all the same.

Thanks,
RDBond

Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

Check out the organized clean ups. It's the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly.

We are doing non ODF supported cleanups at public forests - check the North Fork Wolf Creek Road thread in resources.

If you really want to get involved in community action check out Trash No Land.

Welcome Mr. Bond,
Great to have another member from Everett on the board. Fellow 30/30 lover, but I don't shoot any of mine past 100 yds. Your idea sounds like a real fun blast off to retirement.
