One of a kind 1911, this was the prize gun from the 2007 Single Stack Classic ( and no, I didn't win it...)
A collaboration between Dave Williams at the SA Custom Shop and Master Pistolsmith Richard Heinie, this is a beautiful, functional 1911... the fit and lock up is superb, the trigger is sublime and accuracy is bang on. The "Heinie" stamped above the trigger guard signifies he personally worked on it.
The rear of the slide is serrated at 40lpi, the slide top, front strap and MSH are serrated, the slide stop nub has been shortened and rounded and the barrel is the same exceptionally accurate Nowlin as fitted to the SA Professional-- and this one is fitted perfectly to the bushing, the link aligns the feet to the stop pin- it's really really well done.
I've put 21 rounds through this- comes with the original 2 mags, bushing wrench and the big ugly MTM plastic case.
