Reloader 22 (RL-22) has not been officially discontinued; it is still being produced. However, there are current shortages due to a lack of nitrocellulose, which is affecting many powder companies.
25-06Yeah, RL-22's gone—Alliant axed it. Bummer after 30 years.
Try RL-23 (closest swap) or H4831SC. Check Hodgdon's data and start low.
What're you loading for?
For .25-06, RL-23 is your best bet, it's nearly identical burn rate, same case fill, and temp-stable. Start 1-2 grains below your old RL-22 load and work up.25-06
My favorite blacktail cartridge. I've had good results with H4831SC and it's still available. I saw a pound in Cabela's last time I was in there. It ain't cheap though - about $60/lb.25-06
