Heard A Rumor About RL-22

RL-22 has been my go-to for most of my reloading for the past 30 years or so.
Always on the lookout, it's as scarce as hen's teeth.
Now I've heard it's discontinued.
Anyone else hear or know about this powder's status?
And what's a suitable replacement?

For .25-06, RL-23 is your best bet, it's nearly identical burn rate, same case fill, and temp-stable. Start 1-2 grains below your old RL-22 load and work up.
H4831SC works too, just a touch slower. Either will keep your groups tight. Good luck!

My favorite blacktail cartridge. I've had good results with H4831SC and it's still available. I saw a pound in Cabela's last time I was in there. It ain't cheap though - about $60/lb.
