They're not even trying to hide their disdain any more...they're throwing so much at the law-abiding gun owner community, spreading resources thin...nice being persecuted by our own tax dollars.

Washington State Legislature

This will effect EVERY law abiding gun owner in WA... Fudds, moderates, everyone. And chances are, if you're not breaking the law wherever you are, you'll break it as soon as you get in your car and drive anywhere.

Whatever means you have for spreading the word, particularly local news papers, better get on it...NOW.

This CANNOT be constitutional, state or otherwise.

its not the first state to do something like this. problem is, this is pay back at the one group they believe voted for trump and they wont listen to reason regardless of what you say. we have to influence where we live at the local level to stop the cancer as Olympia is lost.

It makes me sick to see what is happening to our country... in just 1 short generation.
I've never in my 50 years of life seen citizens (mostly the youth) actually beg the government to take their constitutional rights away from them..... the government is sure to give them what they want.

I thought that if the gun community could join forces. .. we'd have a chance. But have recently learned that we're too fractured and many gun owners are "okay" with loosing the 2nd Amendment.... or at the very least, wouldn't be upset by it, and do not feel the need to fight for it.

It's unfortunate, but have just recently realized... probably within my lifetime, guns will be illegal country wide. Don't get me wrong, I'll go down fighting all of the laws, restrictions, bans, etc., but the harsh reality is..... well, it may all be in vain.

I keep looking for positive possibilities...there's so much, they can't get to them all...maybe law enforcement will stand up against some/all these like 1639, maybe there's enough here to finally unify the vast majority of gun owners (boiling the water too fast), maybe some politicians realize that going too far will cost them their jobs in the next election (like back in 1994), maybe people to realize that the politicians currently in power are running this state into the ground...I dunno.

A large part of the frustration lies with all those that supported 1639 (gun owner and gun hater alike) as being just a fair and reasonable set of laws...oh no, it had a large part in laying the very foundation of what we're looking at right now.

And this isn't 5-10 years down the road folks...this is THIS year...right now.

WA is one of the best states in the country geographically...it has it all, lakes, rivers, mountains, the sea, four nice relatively moderate seasons most of the time...and its being destroyed from the inside-out by a small group of people who have a lot of sheeple following them.

Spreading the word as much as possible...

This would be cool if it were actually written that communities could enact their own regulations, i.e. suspend the laws at the state level.
"You Democrat gun-grabbers from King, Kitsap & Snohomish Counties can go gag on a chub."

Most of us know (because we were there), that the high school years were an emotional, selfish, hormonal driven age, when we knew nothing, but thought we knew EVERYTHING.

The Democratic party (I know not ALL of them) as a whole also knows this, I believe they're targeting that age of "fresh voters" and convincing them that the Constitution is an out dated "thing". And soon, the young voters (if not already) will out number those of us with life experience.... and some wisdom. And we're too fractured and busy fighting amongst ourselves to unite as one. I mean, politicians are already asking high schoolers to help draft gun laws. That makes no sense to me.

I really hope you're right Boss. I haven't lost faith yet, hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. I'll keep spreading the word, handing out flyers, talking to people, I'll just be doing it with a little more realistic expectations. The fight, for me anyways, isn't over till it's OVER.

A few, like Republic, might, but most will be subjected to what the state enacts as a baseline, and get worse from there. It'll be 'in addition to' not 'instead of.'

And as soon as you leave the 'good' places...you're right back in the same situation

Does anyone know what the real chances are of this passing?

The older generation will ALWAYS be the most populace demographic......THERES NO REASON WE CANT OUTVOTE THEM....EXCEPT APATHY.

With the Democrats in control in Olympia, anti gun public officials with billionaire backers, probably entirely possible unless ALL law abiding gun owners put up a united front.

Tough choices likely ahead.

Say Goodbye to Liberty, many thanks to "moderate" gun owners!

Yep, the gun owners that say well that does not effect me, I do not mind giving up a little bit here and there.

Well the gun grabbers will never stop, they will go until only the police and military have guns, and that has worked so well in so many countries.

It is the Pasto Martin Niemoeller quote,

First they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the communists and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out as I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me.

Insert "assault weapons" "sniper rifles" "high capacity magazines" "handguns" "pre-emption" "licencing" and on and on.

Can't these people be censured? Can't we start a recall? This is ridicules ........ we need to not only say NO! we need to say F--K NO!

YES!
Laws and Agency Rules Washington State Constitution

Article IV section section 9 of the state Constitution provides for removal of judges, attorney general, etc. Pursuant to article IV section 31 a complaint can submitted to the commission on judicial conduct.

I have submitted complaints but have never received any feedback. I am composing one now on Ferguson's Misfeasance in office.

Older people might be more reliable voters, but I do not think there are as many on our side here as some think. The anti-gunners are trying to swell their ranks with hordes of hapless youths to achieve critical mass for their socialist goals (ie. the useful idiots). They don't care if many never show up, so long as "enough" do.

Ever seen who is whispering in the ears of these youths? It's Planned Parenthood, Women's March, Moms Demand Action, etc. ie. It's a lot of post-college-age, right on through to middle-aged and older women, backed by Bloomberg and other billionaires. They call it "March for our Lives", put a bunch of teenagers and college kids out front, and high-five 'em all along the way. They can claim a detached observers viewpoint and talk about how #brave they are, how they're the new civil rights movement and blabber on about the wisdom 'out of the mouth of babes', etc... The instigators are reliving their "revolutionary days" from decades ago through these kids.
