Gunsmithing Hot Spots

Just spent all my money on a MAB Model B. Was reading about them and noticed... they're a 30 minute drive from Unique, where my other French gun was made! Right on the border with Basque Spain, and only a 2 hour drive from Astra in Guernica.

I know there's a few places like this, would be interesting to see what other ones folks know.

- Aforementioned Basque region, died out ~1970
- Brescia, still going strong (Beretta, bernardelli, Galesi)
- Liege (FN, Pieper)
- Suhl (Walther, Sauer, Schmisser), seems to have died out as far as I know

If you are taking ones that are no longer--Connecticut River Valley.
Currently on the rise would be the Konya Turkey region.
Russia has a lot of arms manufacturing around Tula and Izhevsk.
