Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
There is a gunsmith with a sign at the front of his property on Hwy. 101 just north of Tillamook. Does anybody know who he is, what kind of work he does, and can speak to the quality of his work and his customer service?
Why not just call him and schedule an appointment to see for yourself? Could be an international superstar who only puts the sign out when he is expecting deliveries. Just be respectful of his time if he does accept an appointment. Most detest drop ins but welcome an occasional appointment.
In our shop we no longer have a sign and have dropped all formal advertizing and still have a hard time with going on near year long backlogs. A drop in can easily blow half a day.
He is a good guy.I have had a few things done, price was comparable to others. He has a pretty good selection of firearms and ammo. He is open like six days a week I believe.
He does good work and has a good selection of guns and reloading components. He did some work on my 1927 Winchester 94. Very satisfied and not too expensive.
