Greetings from Clark county

I've lurked about the forums a bit over the years but never actually made an account. I noticed tonight what reddit did in October to the gun related subs and started looking for alternatives. I barely use reddit since they killed 3rd party apps and can't say I really miss it.
About me:
I'm a married dude in my 30s with kids, quasi-homesteading in rural Washington. I'm a constitutionalist and staunch supporter of dangerous freedom. I'm a reformed Scotch drinker turned bourbon nut and I enjoy some casual woodworking. I like my fingers so I don't mix the two. I've also got a few gallons of cider fermenting at the moment. While I enjoy alcohol, I never drink heavily and have little patience for drunkenness; but I'll give literally anyone a ride home at 3am, no questions asked.
