Got out shooting today - sort of...

Ran down to 'the pit' near my house to run my 1991 A1 .45 and my RIA 1911 9mm with the new springs.

I was surprised my .45 cycled well with with the 18 LB spring even though my reloads are NOT on the 'high end'.

My RIA cycled perfectly with a 14 LB spring as well.

It hit the BIG 50 today and sunny and I would have shot more but a gal was down at the area picking up brass and I told her I was just going to run a couple mags and she could get back to scrounging brass of which there looked like 1000s of rounds of it!

The cheap ammo right now must have something to do with it!
