That is a model 144LS with the Lyman rear and front peep sights. This was made between 54 and 60.

Hi Doubletap,

If you havent done so already, you might want to consider posting at Rimfirecentral.com website. They are a good group and they have forums for Mossbergs along with just about any & all makes of rimfires.

The site favors Rugers 10/22 but all makes are welcome.

That is a nice looking Mossberg and could very well be a collectable.
