What do folks make of this?

I went to the Glock USA "store" link (not McGill's "Glock Store", but the actual "Glock" store) and when I clicked on the "parts" link, this is the page that loads.

What the heck does "influx in product production" mean? Use of the word "influx" in this sentence is nonsensical. Now, if they had said "increase" in product production, then it might make sense that they're not selling parts separately, but directing all parts to production of firearms

Anyone heard anything about this?

Just curious and it struck me as odd.

Anyway ........ :s0092:

Parts going towards mfg of new pistols.

Only the overflow from their primary mfg get put for civies and parts ordering.

Yup, not "news" by any stretch. Finding a Glock or any other handgun these days is close to impossible due to demand.

Supply isn't catching up yet. Maybe never.

That is kick in the knickers. Not unexpected, but still sucks.

I'm having trouble finding the off-beat firearms I find interesting. I'd have to imagine a line as, rightly, popular as the Glock has to be unobtanium in this day and age.

Glock sig and TAURUS! I own a Tx .22 and need a new barrel (factory early production barrels came with defects) its a warranty item but they told me the same thing.. theyre NOT shipping any parts at this time ?? I figured it was due to political BS.. what the heck man :(

Why would you need parts if Glock = Perfection....? :D
Just kidding here.

I do hope production and supply will catch up to the demand.
Never thought I'd see a day where a popular firearm like the Glock series of pistols and their parts would be difficult to find .

Well that's a bit of an exaggeration. Prices have gone up but you can still find nearly everything you'd want on GunBroker or GunEngine. Saw a G43 that's in stock for pre-panic pricing ($449) and that was without even looking hard. I was at Big Iron Armory last week and they said they're getting a shipment of handguns this week.

LGS has had 2 Glocks there every time I've gone in the past few months; a used G27 for $550 and a new G43 for $549. No other Glocks available for nearly a year.

But, they've had plenty of every other popular carry gun. Lots of Sig P365s and SA Hellcats. I was tempted to sell a couple of M&Ps, but they have new ones for below MSRP. Really no gun shortage around here.
