Back when I worked in a local shop, I had a customer call wondering how to aquire an M17. I want to say after doing a little looking, we could not even varify if it was an actual model.
Is it just military lingo for a Glock 17?
Or is it like the Beretta 92 and M9 where they actually have a different model number designated for that gun, and sold to the public as such? Or even military only?
I have seen people sell guns in auctions and call them M17's without any explination and no distinguishable markings to lead you to believe it is labeled anything other than just "17" like they all are.
