I've done that way as well. Fill with JB weld and then dremel to desired shape. JB weld doesn't stipple very well though. lol. But it worked. It was a buddies G19 and I think he still carries it. Haha.The "bump" is referred to a "hump".
Didn't know there was a jig available for its removal, but after a quick search, I found one. Interesting…..
A couple decades ago I modded two G17 frames using JB Weld Quick Steel. Shoved it into the grip cavity and let it set up. Then, sanded through the hump to expose the putty. Followed up with some "roll on" bed liner.
Pretty rough but I wanted to try the mod myself. I didn't really shoot them after the mod as I had moved on to other guns with more agreeable grips. Still have them though.
It's safer and more enjoyable than the P320 make em' dance jig. You and your partner get to walk away without any extra holes. Just the same ones you came to the party with.Sounds like a dance.....glock grip bump jig!
