Howdy all,

I am curious if anyone has a Glock grip bump removal jig they would let me rent or borrow. I have thought about getting one, but with only a single Glock pistol, it doesn't make sense to purchase it for one use. Pic of desired outcome for attention.

The "bump" is referred to a "hump".
Didn't know there was a jig available for its removal, but after a quick search, I found one. Interesting…..

A couple decades ago I modded two G17 frames using JB Weld Quick Steel. Shoved it into the grip cavity and let it set up. Then, sanded through the hump to expose the putty. Followed up with some "roll on" bed liner.

Pretty rough but I wanted to try the mod myself. I didn't really shoot them after the mod as I had moved on to other guns with more agreeable grips. Still have them though.

I've done that way as well. Fill with JB weld and then dremel to desired shape. JB weld doesn't stipple very well though. lol. But it worked. It was a buddies G19 and I think he still carries it. Haha.

RE : Post #8

You made me look for it..........

Aloha, Mark

PS.....IDK.....if I don't like a certain "feature" of a particular firearm. I'll usually just NOT BUY. In other words, my default is usually to........

BUT......but my son just loves to Dremel his Glocks. He claims.....he is making them BETTER.

BTW......YES......my BHPs still have the magazine disconnect feature.
