It's the 17, Glock said so. Just because it's in 47 configuration.... :s0123:
LOL. The 17 is the 47. The 47 is the 17. It is smart of them to downsize the number of frames they have to manufacture.

I want a 47 bad. But I want it with a standard slide which I don't think they make. Although with the new optic mounting system looks much better than the MOS. Not sure about the plastic spacers though. Time will tell.

I think I'm the only person who likes this thing :D

I'll just fondle my 17V a little more in the mean time :s0140:

I plan to get one, or a few. Glock 45 is what I like best for my hands, etc. Though I have a number of glocks, I'm actually not a Glock guy. I prefer Sig (haters go ahead and hate, but I edc a 365 Legion and XMacro with AXG grip and love them). They still need to fix the sights, so that will get done as soon as I get it, and an optic.

I like it. It just doesn't do anything different than my Gen 5s. I may buy one depending on their price through blue label.
Did you hit your head? Do you not know the technical achievements that the Glock engineers had to pull off to bring you an undercut trigger guard, a more gooder magwell, a beavertail and gas pedals? You should be so lucky as to see that in your lifetime! What an ungrateful piece of dung you are. Keep Glock's name out of your filthy crayon eating mouth! Good day, Sir. You get nothing!

Dremel go brrrrrrrr!

For now it looks like just the 47, 45 and 19. A $750 MSRP is a bit steep. I wonder what the street price will be.
I bet they won't hit shelves with that price tag. $699 or less. Still too much but plenty of people will pay it including myself lol

I'm gonna counter that a bit. The dealers know people are going to be chomping at the bit to get these. I'll bet it takes a little while for prices to settle.

Damn. I thought retail was still going to be around $635 or so, at least from whichever YouTube propaganda piece I watched. If listing price is that going to be that steep I agree, and I am not going to get a jump on a new Gen 6 I guess.

You could absolutely be right!!! We will find out in 44 days lol

I rely on my Glocks. I nonetheless have either replaced the triggers or futzed with them, since stock triggers aren't great. Whether the new Gen 6 perfection addresses this remains to be seen. Nonetheless, the Gen 6 version still seems to be pretty affordable, and if still as reliable I'll remain a fan.

I would also like to see a 10mm version…which I'm guessing in time we will.
Other than the optics cut, the slide is the same as the "Gen V" slide. I'm not impressed.
