Glock's newly announced Gen6 pistols feature a refined, dedicated Optic Ready System that allows optics to be mounted directly to the slide. This design eliminates the need for an additional adapter plate system like the previous Modular Optic System (MOS), resulting in a lower mounting height for the optic.

Key Features of the Gen6 Optic Ready System
  • Direct Mounting: The new system is designed to screw the red dot sight directly into the slide for a more secure, lower-profile fit.
  • Adapter Plates Included: Each Gen6 pistol comes with three polymer optic plates included in the box, which act as a cushion to absorb recoil.
  • Optic Compatibility: The system is engineered to accommodate common optic footprints, including the Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro (DPP).

Any chance we will end up back at CH Precision looking for a plate?
Or have the plastic optic plates become a new addition to the front plastic sight thingy?
Is Aimpoint COA back burner now? I'm still stuck on gen 3. ???
Just asking for a friend.

I tried but couldn't make two minutes with that bozo, the next video in line was that other bozo from TFB. I think I'll wait to see what 6th Gen perfection looks like when someone I'm able to tolerate puts out a video.
That's fair. I agree they're both idiots who enjoy listening to themselves talk. I just posted the first one I saw as I was under the impression the Gen 6 was just a rumor until I saw all the talking heads reviewing it.
