FWIW,
I believe that a G30S is Gen 3 only.
From the photo you can tell that the OP's pistol is on a Gen 3 frame, and as far as I know Glock does not offer a G30S on a Gen 4 frame.
AFAIK the G30 is the only subcompact Glock in 45 ACP that is produced in a Gen 4 form factor. The G30S, G30SF and the G36 are all still sold on Gen 3 frames.
That being said, the Gen3 G30S is a phenomenal 45 ACP pistol.
