Picked her up this afternoon.
When I found out that Davidson's had some in stock, I told Farnes at GUNWORLD in Elko. He gave me price of $660. I said DO IT. He ordered a couple and we had it 2 days later.
So far, it's awesome. The fit and finish is flawless. The trigger is pretty sweet too. Hell, it even comes in a real nice case. No cardboard box here.
The 1st range time is probably Sunday.

I had been eyeing one of these this year. Finally held one. They do feel solid.

Please, if you are a 1911 guy, do tell me which type of ramped barrel it has because EAA CS had not been helpful.

Nice! Looks awesome. Let us know how it shoots.

It's our 1 yr Anniversary and it's all that I can do not to want to rush home, grab my gear and head to the range.😄

But I'm smarter than that .
Plus it's 10f outside and there isn't an indoor range in my area.

I will. The first thing I'll be doing is a field strip and clean. They're definitely well lubed from the factory. A little messy, but that's better than dry.
I'd really like to measure the trigger pull. I will say that my 1st impression is very favorable. Not as good as my Dan Wessons, but nice break and reset.

I actually wanted to buy this just for the complete slide to be fitted to my DW 9mm frame. DW told all their 1911 frames are the same size so a 10mm mag should fit in my grip well.

That's quite interesting.
Maybe I'll try it and see.

I have a scope mount that uses the lower rail.

OCCASIONALLY we get it right and survive these encounters.

We live in a town with many casino's. Took her away for an overnight slot machine play date.
My GIRSAN purchase was the same day. That worked out well. 😉
Not my thing, but "happy wife, happy life ".
Very true.
Well Ill follow the thread! I truly want some range time feedback on this pistol. Ive had it sitting in various online shopping carts forever and havent pulled the trigger on one yet.

The front sight isn't the best.
I like how the slide lock has enough relief to easily push out.

Taking her down did nothing to hurt my opinion.
Really looking forward to running some rnds down range.

Very nice pictorial giving all the views that one could need without putting our nose picking fingers all over the showroom model and having to deal with the sales monkey at dykes sporting sneaker emporium. Let's go Brandon

Gentlemen I thank you for your kind words.
I was in the same boat. I was VERY interested but couldn't find an example. I actually did all the leg work finding some in stock for my LGS to order. GUNWORLD & ARCHERY in Elko Nv is a fantastic LGS. his prices are always fair and he will whatever it takes.
