I wonder what it is a man can't stand by his word when you make a gun deal? Keeps you on the hook to the very last minute then flakes out, wait for hours to meet someone and then not even a call, just a text. Didn't say he wanted more money or anything, just changed his mind.

Wanted to go to the car show today and the guy ruined the day. Set up with a dealer to do the paperwork and had to back out. He had every oportunity to do the right thing and call the deal off last night but waited until he got here to say no. Wtf, my time is worth something too but not even the courtesy of not wasting my day.

That and it sounds like a family member was recently lost.

I can't state that this isn't worthy of a negative feedback, but calling to ban is probably unwarranted.

I don't know, just some thoughts.

I even offered to buy him lunch if the deal went too slow at the dealer. He was driving a long way so I was going to sweeten the deal a bit.

However I use the review system to judge a lot about worthiness.

He has 50 positive, you have 1.

In my eyes, without a good solid story to why not to trust this guy, those numbers mean more. To me at least.

You have a better presence however, so that also means something.

So, tell us what happened.

My first and only was to a supporting vendor, I got tons of flack for giving him bad feedback. After site staff got involved and the vendor even admitted he did me wrong I was asked to change it.

I do understand the frustration of deal gone bad or when one party does something flaky or dishonest.
But...
This thread even without giving names is treading on being way too negative or not excellent to each other.

I am suprised I have one review, I ask folks to not give me one as I don't want feedback. Feedback of what you buy and sell is registration. Feedback on your deal is about character.

Contacted the seller and got more pictures posted in the pm. Told him I would buy the gun and would set up a dealer for paperwork. He agreed to meet at 2pm to make transaction. He texted me twice on the way up that the deal is still on. Just as he got to albany he texted that he changed his mind and was driving on to portland.
