G17 Concealed Holster

I was wondering if this will be a good threading to add up some interest. Or should I move this to a new threading?
I wanna start wearing holster (like Clint the Cowboy) most of the time and I wanna make sure:
1. I'm using the right holster.
2. I have the correct training so no punks are going to snatch my gun to use it against me and feeling like a hobo.
I'm using a Taurus GX4 9mm. Any recommendation would be great!

A million holsters for a million preferences. Welcome to the world of trial and error ha ha. I would say first decide how you will carry it (Fe appendix, 4 o'clock, pocket, whatever). Then decide if you want kydex, leather, or hybrid. That will narrow your choices somewhat. Keep in mind your attire. Think about how it will print (or not).

I suggest doing a YouTube search on "hickok45 holsters" and that will get you started with some basic info.

If you mean open carry by the "Clint the cowboy" statement….. just don't.

Conceal carry. Open carry is dumb.

I have an Alien Gear leather holster that works fairly well when I carry my G17. But not sure if they make leather backings anymore looking at their website recently. You can order multiple shells so you can carry different hand guns with one holster.

For OWB I use a Raven Concealment Perun with a TLR-HL light. I keep a flashlight on me so I will only use the weapon light as a secondary.
