Tenicor Certum 3.

I have it for a G48, G19 and G17. Best holster IMO. And I have spent money on plenty other styles and brands.

Where are you planning on carrying? OWB or IWB? Leather, Kydex, or hybrid?

I figured you for Velo man, which would be one of my choices for AIWB. For IWB I prefer a Kramer #3 in horsehide. For OWB I still like the old school Raven Phantom.

Probably get some hate but Blackhawk Serpa holsters have been great. Have one on the hip for my Ruger RXM currently.

Always carried concealed.

You do you Boo-boo, just realize there are damn good reasons why most reputable trainers forbid them at their classes/ranges.

For comfort and retention the urban carry hybrid kydex and leather holsters at really nice. It does sit too high for my taste but I like my carry guns buried deep to avoid printing. Very comfortable just like leather and perfect retention just like kydex.

I can't take serious any holster company that puts out crap like this…

Anyone use urban carry G3 holster?

Thinking of getting an urban carry holster. There are days where I spend too much time bending/stooping over for the IWB at 4 o'clock position under just a t-shirt like I often wear to not print or at least not to work about it. I often pocket carry something smaller (not an LCP but that size)...

Simple, people do stupid things, and generally the people draw improperly from said holsters and stupid things happen...

Said holsters get a bad overall view.

If you use the tip of your finger to press the release button, your doing it wrong and will probably be another one to shoot yourself as your finger lands on the trigger in mid draw...


However. If you simply use the side of your finger, your finger transitions to the slide while drawing...

It's actually rather simple, but then many people need the warnings on microwaved products that say caution, contents may be hot, and even then, people still can't understand why they burned themselves....

Tried the Velo4, Velo5 and the Sagax Lux. They all created hot spots for me with the built in body contour. Luckily their return policy is top notch. Basically get to try anything and if you don't like it you just send it back.

If you're looking for a high quality leather setup try Tucker Gunleather. They have quite a few different options. But just be ready to wait 6-8 weeks as most of his holsters are custom made.

Also, the paddle type that you have pictured have been known to break regularly during retention drills.

Never a single issue with the holsters across many platforms even open carry while working on property in the woods. Dirt, debris, lawn trimmings, if I'm using my chainsaws I'll occasionally pull out my pistol to blow all the woodchips and dust out of my optic and reholster...

Working outside for over a decade with these holster, under cars. Upside down, debris all over them, never a problem...

People ask if it holds solid, so I yank on it. Never had one release accidentally or jam or or even break....

Over a decade of them working without failure....

That is not an unreasonable lead time at all for a decent leather holster.

I strictly carry AIWB appendix.

If I were to carry OWB the holster would have to be atleast level 2 retention. But I don't carry OWB.

Don't know what that stuff in that thread is. Mine looks like this and is excellent except it rides too high for my taste. Kydex on inside and leather on outside

Check if you can find a DeSantis Cozy Pertner for your Glock. I have one. They may have been discontinued. I got one for my Glock 9X and it was on sale for like $46.00 at Cabela's/Bass Pro.

Actually DeSantis still has them up on their website for Colt Govt for $105.00.
