Front sight question

I have a smith and Wesson .357 revolver.
Model 19-4. Front sight appears to be fixed.
Rear sight is adjustable.
My question: can the front sight be replaced with a fiber optic one?

It's a case of........
With enough money and a good gunsmith.....most anything could/would be possible.

I agree. I will keep it stock. I was curious if there was a "non butcher" option that I was unaware of.

I watched a video somewhere where a guy bored the sight and inserted a fiber optic rod. He also opened the top some if I remember correctly. I wouldn't do it unless you intend to keep it forever.

My old armorer would/could replace the inserts with different colors etc. without messing up or altering the front sight itself.

Oh, on second look it looks like yours has been painted. I thought it had a factory insert.
