for those that don't know I help coach the youth BB gun team in forest grove. Over the long weekend the team went back to Rodgers Arkansas for the national match. We placed 26th out of 63 teams. One of our young ladies took third in individual overall out of about 441 shooters. Not bad for little old forest grove.

What kind of air rifles were they using? Could you post some pics? Also, do you have any links that you could post regarding the organization?

Well that's ok about the links. That's great news though about your club, we appreciate your sharing it here.
We take firearms and safety seriously here and I'm sure that your club does as well. Air rifles are just like any other weapon and deserve the same amount of respect.
Can you tell us a little more about your club. How big is it? How often do you meet and what kind of training do you do? Is the only chapter in Forest Grove? Is it primarily for youth or do you have adult members as well?

Thanks riclnor. That's our team. It's a youth program ages about 8 (depends on the kid) to 15. We meet on Tuesday nites. New shooters start in November through December. Regular season starts January for about 14 weeks. Then the top seven shooters ,5 on the team and 2 alternates, then we practice till the match. We had about 40 kids this year. There are teams all over the US. We are the only team in Oregon.
