I have for sale what looks like one of the imported surplus/police browning Hi powers in 9mm. It comes with a factory 13 round mag and 2 new MecGar 15 rounders.

This was Built in Belgium and Assembled in Portugal. CAI is the importer.

Not really looking for trades unless you have a VP9 Optics Ready 9mm.

Is the mag disconnector group still in the pistol? Is the front site dovetailed or staked? Does the factory mag have the
mousetrap" spring? Can you estimate when the gun was made or provide a partial serial number? Can you show any particular markings on the slide or frame?

Mag disconnect has not been removed, has dovetailed sights and no idea about spring in mag.

Not seeing any serial number, the two-letter part of it identifies the manufacture date.

Are there lines/grooves in the grip frame behind the mag port on the base of frame grip?

It'd probably going to be cast, but you never know, might be a pre '93

OP, you'd know if it was a "mousetrap" mag, the spring is pretty conspicuous on the outside.
