First SBR amnesty approval in today

I have a bunch of the magpuls, But do you know of a good forward canted one? One of my MPA defenders that the stamp came in for really does not have enough purchase on the magpul as the trigger guard is tight.

A3 tactical has some nice forward can't ones.

Also wilson combat and a few more only need a tiny bit of rail space so that might be an option to mount forward a bit to create space. Round shape vs thick magpul makes a huge difference too Imo and that alone might be enough. I'll try to plug in pics here at the bottom.

Got the first of 9 approved yesterday, MKE AP5-
Submitted it on 3/13 so a little over 2 weeks.

Only pic submitted on all applications was of the serial numbers, (plus of course my mug).
I was worried that I'd made a mess of my self rolled prints but I guess they were fine.

They dont actually run prints. They just keep them on file.

it was more the quality of the print- wasn't sure if they were clear/unsmudgy enough.
I got through half a dozen cards where I'd mess up on the ring finger

I've been sloppy drunk and printed the same hand left and right.

If that was an ATF Final Rule2021R-08F application, then I'm feeling kinda bummed. My two went in on 29 &30 Jan. I shoulda heard something by now.

There's no rhyme or reason, no consistency to when and how long it takes to get back to you. Mine was 53 days, submitted 20th of Jan, got back March 15th but again, you'll get yours when you get yours, whenever they decide to process and notify you that you got approved (or disapproved). Speaking of which.. has anyone else gotten a disapproval for amnesty form 1s other than @Wombat of Doom ?

All reports I have seen other than that one have been 60-75 days, excluding some very early on that were 45 days.

I have not had disapproval in this. Some attempted paid sbrs in the past were disapproved. I have 6 approved. Still waiting on 3. Irony, is, I believe the SBRs that were refused inexplicably in the past were braced and now have papers.

The weird part about this is I like MPA arms MPA30 that takes Glock mags. One of them is more to my liking, but I have 2 in 9mm and a 3rd in 5.7 One of the 9s I have loads of rounds through, could field strip it in my sleep, and I own a second I bought as replacement parts because cosmetically it is beat to crap and it was cheaper than a spare bolt. the beat to crap and the 5.7 one are through. Now the beat to crap one probably has 10s of thousands less rounds through it, but it is ugly. the 5.7 was just a cheapie I picked up under $200

That would have zero effect on the ATF. Theyve always been of the persuasion that only high court rulings apply to them.

I'm still waiting on two from 3/7. Submitted as a trust, but they also confirmed the background checks had been processed over a month ago....
